Pictures In Order

The 2008 stimulus package brought me $600.  Since my savings was just fine and my only real debt was student loans, I decided to spend it and bought myself a Nikon D40 DSLR.  But that meant needing a place to post pictures.  Full galleries work well on Flickr and Google’s Picasa sites, but I wanted something that would let me highlight one or two photos every so often. Since WordPress had recently created a theme for photoblog use, it seemed like an appropriate place to create my space.

The title, Pictures in Order is a play on my regular blog Not in Order which is a play on Robert’s Rules of Order which I first learned (very little) about in college and was sort of teased about it ever since.  My life isn’t in order, but apparently my pictures are.
